Last week, the Sycamore Institute received a national award from the Governmental Research Association (GRA) at its 113th annual conference hosted by the Civic Federation in Chicago, IL.
The Sycamore Institute was awarded Best Digital Communication on a State Government Issue for our Instagram Reels. This ongoing project branches into a new medium to showcase and explain public policy research and make it accessible to the public.
The awarding committee wrote, “The Sycamore Institute’s Instagram Reels social media campaign is the only one of its kind in the category. The organization does a great job breaking down complex topics for the public and branching into a different medium to share messaging about everything from legislative session terminology to SNAP operations.”
